I'm in the 'Macs don't need Antivirus' camp. A few off the top of my head: • CLion has a 'quick fix' feature which is absurdly good at doing What You Want at the right time. I'm not familiar with Kaspersky installation, but antivirus install packages/suites can be very 'invasive' (require root access), and difficult to clean out! I don't have the folder you told me Interesting! There's always a 'Popcorn-Time' support folder (it holds settings and preferences). There's also a couple of other files created after the Popcorntime installation. If you haven't deleted them (along with the old PT app) it's not a 'clean install'? Your new PT.sh download will use the old support folder (settings). Deleting the support folder might just fix your problem. If you can't find the support files yourself - I'll run you through their locations and get you to delete them, reboot the PT app and try again! From your Desktop window - click on 'Go' in the top menu bar and choose 'Home' from the drop list. This window displays the home directory for the user currently logged in. You should see your 'Library' folder (among others) in the window that opens? Open this and look for the 'Application Support' folder - this folder will contain the 'Popcorn-Time' folder (move the 'Popcorn-Time' folder to the trash and delete). Now reboot Popcorntime. You should get the Terms & Conditions again (clean install). Accept and continue. So the path was ~/Library/Application Support/Popcorn-Time (~ means 'Home' (your username) in this path) If you wanted to be 'squeaky clean'. These are also linked (but not as critical, so don't worry too much!). ~/Library/Caches/Popcorn-Time (delete the 'Popcorn-Time' folder). ~/Library/Preferences/com.nw-builder.popcorn-time.plist (delete the.plist). ~/Library/Preferences/Saved Application State/com.nw-builder.popcorn-time.savedState (delete the 'nw-builder. SavedState' folder).
